Global HSE has won the tender for City Point as the most comprehensive and competitively priced. The passive fire protection work was successfully completed with little or no disruption at all to the tenants.
Global HSE has worked alongside the building management to organise and implement a full passive fire protection survey of the premises, on the back of the Fire Risk Assessment produced by C.S Todd.
The passive Fire Survey provided by Global HSE consisted of a thorough inspection of the compartment walls and floors below the ground level of the building. Above the ground level, the fire strategy focused on the central core of the building, namely the riser shafts and stairwells.
The 39 storeys high building has been surveyed by Global HSE in accordance with Building and Fire Regulations. A schedule of the items which required addressing under the building regulations Approved document B/Section 20 London Regulations was then provided. The building was then surveyed and offset to find the most cost effective solutions for the client.
Global HSE also produced drawings with marker points for each fire protection defect, and created a detailed schedule of works that would suit the client’s needs and requirements.
